I believe very strongly in freedom and equality, and as part of that, freedom of speech.
Anyone who knows me will know I do not swear very often, but I occasionally use a swear word to emphasise a point. Knowing this forum has hundreds of lurkers who fail to contribute and exercise their option for free speech, I did not want to offend their delicate eyes in anyway, so bleeped my own post with asterisks.
Apparently my post was edited as it broke the rules pertaining to "Posting material containing profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, or threats of violence."
As I had bleeped my own post, that means they probably went for hate speech which is an insult in a free world where we have to speak out against oppressive regimes that bleed countries dry. It is also laughable in the context of my post, but a statement of how controlling eBay wants to be, and who it represents.
I can no longer be part of forums that do not allow freedom of speech as they cease to be forums.
