Richard kindly signed my two Who related 4x6 photos for Curse Of Fatal Death and Scream Of The Shalka. I already have one of his books signed.

Arthur Smith - 52 days

A special one for me. Arthur is a favourite of mine from way back watching him on the comedy circuit, and his book is one of the best bios I have read to date. Our lives had some parallels, so I had a lot to write about in my letter to him (a tale of alcohol, happiness, alcohol, sadness, alcohol, dunking digestives, and more), and was chuffed to bits with his reply. He kindly signed/dedicated my HB 1/1 of his 2009 bio and signed my 4x6 Red Dwarf photo from one of my favourite RD episodes, plus sent a great signed letter, and kindly sent a 4cd set of the audio version of his book as a bonus. Top man! He added extra stamps to my envelope to allow for this, and all the stamps were unmarked, so they live to fight the postal system another day.

Liking the Dr Who signed cards Nigel...and what a fantastic reply back from Arthur Smith..cracking letter and how kind of him to add the CD set..very nice.

Two very nice replies but the one from Arthur Smith is extra special. What a great man to add the CD's and the extra postage. I think that's one of the best replies of late. Well deserved Nigel.
