Hi everyone.
Been very quiet over the summer and not visited the board much at all, I've had no responses for a long time now but also nothing sent out which probably isn;t helping. Glad to see responses are coming in for people. I stil have quite anumber of letters outstanding which will hopefully be returned in time.
I took the family to Harry Potter studios this week and it has got me thinking about a Harry Potter collction. Is anyone doing that already and if so do you have any advice about who is a good signer through the mail and who is likely to be more of a struggle?
Thanks for any help you can offer and happy collecting everyone.
Steve.

I've got a Harry Potter collection going on at the moment on some limited edition postcards fair few you can get apart from the big ones so avoid emma watson, rupert grint, dan radcliffe, evanna lynch, alan rickman, tom felton, robbie coltrane, mark williams rest are pretty much ok

Thanks for that. It still leaves a large number to collect. I presumed the 3 leads would be impossible, shame about Luna and Malfoy and I'm surprised Mark Williams is so hard. Fortunately I do have an Alan Rickman autograph from some years back. so that's one of them ticked off.

I don't know if it would be worth trying Rupert Grint vv. He goes into the west end in October. Good luck with the collection should you start it.

its not the case that Mark Williams is hard im unsure of the autograph sent out via agent they dont look right to me so I had him down as sending sec replies not sure weather im right with this some others may know more there was a discussion about this in the past I seem to remember but ive avoided sending to him for this reason

When i had my Doctor Who reply from mark Williams a few months back, I think we concluded they were most likely to be secretarial, but were not 100% sure. In these cases I tend to believe they are secretarial unless someone can prove otherwise.
Good luck with your HP collection Steve. Many, many people for you to write off to.

Thanks, it's about time I got writing again it has been a while since I sent anything.
Shame about Mark Wiliams, it would be much better to send out a note saying he doesn't sign or just not reply.
Thanks for the Rupert Grint tip off, it has to be worth a shot.

Off the top of my head, a couple who who cross over with Doctor Who as well as HP, and are delightful people - Shirley Henderson and Simon Fisher-Becker.

Hi Steve, I have a small HP collection. Check out the HP section of my website to see who has replied. The only one not TTM was Daniel Radcliffe: www.gregsautographs.com

Thanks. Funnily enough I went over to your site on just such a mission. I find it gives me inspiration to look at your collection!
