Recent postal issues - quick update

Despite talking to my local delivery office manager a few weeks ago, I was still seeing signs things were not right. Purchases not turning up, letters from doctors/services connected to my wife/daughter not arriving, letters and packages arriving opened, continued unmarked stamps, and very few autograph replies.

I decided to go higher so wrote and emailed to customer services outlining everything in detail. I had a reply yesterday saying what actions they had taken including speaking to my local delivery office.

Lo and behold, today's post has brought me four replies amongst a bundle of other non-autograph related post!!! Digressing, one of them is the rarest EastEnders card I have ever received ttm from a cast member who appeared 22-23 years ago. Could my PO rant have been better timed? 🙂

Will be interesting to see how this continues.

Hopefully everything is sorted out for you,but it would be interesting to find out if they have done anything,and if they have, what they've done and what happened to your other post.

It will be interesting to see how things go. Nowt today, but my wife reports we had a lady postie today who is clearly new as we have never had a lady postie before. Will be interesting to see if she continues as a regular.

Of interest, the delivery office moved in February. Prior to this, in December I had 22 replies and January I had 30 replies, a total of 52 replies in 2 months. In the 4 months from Feb to end of May, I only had 47 replies (1 of these to my work address).

glad you got the 4 replies nigel,but i would still be concerned on what might have happened to the potential replies still outstanding,an explanation from the p/o should be forth coming

I agree Daz, and that will be one of my next steps. This is far from over as far as I am concerned. I have had three more replies today. Everything that has arrived this week since my complaint has had the stamp marked off correctly as well. I will see how next week goes, and if it continues like this will be reporting back, and expecting further investigation to find who has clearly been taking stuff.
