Eric Steele....Manchester United

I sent a 12x8 photo of the Brighton team from 1977/78 and a blank card to Man Utd goalkeeper coach Eric Steele to the Man Utd training ground on 3/3 and received them back duly signed today along with a signed compliment slip.

During his playing days he played for Brighton, Newcastle, Peterborough, Watford & Derby.

Nice one to get. He was a good keeper for Watford, and I preferred him to Sherwood, but GT favoured Sherwood in the end leaving Eric warming the bench or playing for the reserves.
