Omar salgado is a young "future star" for the USA, he plays for Vancouver in the MLS but has a very bright career ahead of him. I sent a card i made to him a while ago but didn't hear anything for about 4 or 5 months, I finally got it back yesterday, he included a trading card signed and also a nice note on the back of the card reading:

"Kevin,

Sorry for this being late. I now had time to write back. I hope you and your family have a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Omar Salgado"

I like getting replies with notes like that. Makes me feel good that there are still players out there that are actually nice people too.
