This is the second of the 33p books I sent out on the 1st of September. this was posted out to Bill Beaumont via his family business not a million mile from where I live. I sent the 3rd edition autobiography from 1983 plus an index card off to Bill, England Rugby union captain and captain of the British lions. Today bot have been returned signed in a purple coloured Biro.
William "Bill" Blackledge Beaumont CBE (born 9 March 1952 in Chorley, Lancashire, England) was captain of the England rugby union team at a time when they struggled to win games. His greatest moment as captain was the unexpected 1980 Grand Slam. He played as a lock. He is currently a member of the International Rugby Board and Chairman of the Rugby Football Union.
Unquestionably one of the most famous English Rugby players of recent times.
Cheers Bill, Thank you....Both books back in 9 days....Scotland captain off Brian yesterday......, One better today TTM ![]()
