That is, time for the Perseids meteor shower.
Going to peak tomorrow night/Friday morning and it's supposed to be a good year with up to 200 meteors an hour at the peak.
So, I wonder if the night sky will be clear or will the clouds spoil it again?

Taken from a page on The Telegraph:-
"Look at a height approximately two-thirds up the sky in any direction."
On light pollution....:-
"At 1am BST the large, distinctive pattern known as the Great Square of Pegasus appears high in the southeast..... The Great Square of Pegasus is useful for assessing sky conditions. Give yourself 20 minutes in darkness and count how many faint stars you can see within the square. If you see 7 or more, your sky is pretty good."

The late afternoon here was lovely, I thought the sky was going to be clear tonight but the clouds are back. There's a few gaps so I hope the gaps get bigger.
