The best fish and chips I ever had was in a place called Filthy McNasty's in Devon. Many years ago now so don't know if they are still there.

If it was in Dartmouth it is still there but called the Wheelhouse... and still getting good reviews

Yes it was Dartmouth.Shame the name has changed as I think it was a unique crowd puller. I often heard it being recommended and it was a name you wouldn't forget.

Hi Al, it was more down Girvan for me when young, the wee chippy at The Flushes, sit in or take away.

Info for people who don't know, in Scotland there is a East v West split,
Salt & sauce - East - salt & vinegar - West
