An ID that the live chat operative told me was not allowed becacause it contained the word 'cannon' ?

It was reported because the 'reportee' decided it contained the word 'meccano'but if you look closely, it doesn't contain the word 'meccano' at all, so, come tomorrow, mecannoman will be no more, RIP 'mecannoman'

Don't lose heart, your new name will be replaced automatically in saved searches in My Ebay, so you shouldn't lose any sales from your regular customers.

Maybe it would just be a good idea, if you adopted a new I/D more in keeping with the ebay ethos; then they couldn't possibly get upset. Something like MMMmmmmmm...........................................scammersparadise........perhaps.
