Billy Connolly - I have met him and have the photo to prove it.  Would love to have a couple of hours conversation with him.  Describes life so accurately.  (And of course the Humblebums Gerry Rafferty).

Kris Kristofferson - had front seat at Festival theatre (met roadies in restaurant) - me on my tod - as ever.  Now, he'd have been at least late 60s/70 by then, and the sex appeal was dripping off the stage.  Fabby.

Mouse, a friend of mine who works with the State Department in the US has worked in protection for the Dalai Lama when he visits the States: he does laugh if you poke him - and his favourite thing is apparently poking his guards in the ribs to make them jump!  (Gives him a big laugh, but probably not something I would do to dudes with guns...)

Oh how sweet!  It's probably a bit better for him to poke blokes with guns, as he's sort of assured of a continued existence in t'next incarnation.  Wouldn't fancy your or my chances though.
