Does anyone remember watching it on tv.
I was not quite 5 and I remember watching the procession on a black and white tv. Very vague but I do remember seeing it And the cranes.

We didn't have a TV at the time but I still remember the day that Churchill died. When I was as school, we had to go to church every Sunday and the priest told the congregation the news.

I was 9 and we got the day off school, I remember the procession, and St Pauls for the service, but I don't remember the cranes....funny what you remember when you are little.
