Youngest has just gone back to school, into year 10. I can't believe

where the time's gone!

Five of his friends called for him and they all did a silly dance in our

driveway and off they all went, crossing our little close behind a

reversing dustcart, the daft twits!

I'll miss him and his daft buddies and their silly antics, bless them.

Always sad when they go back but I am sure you will get used to it.

Cheer up do something silly yourself, remind yourself you were that age once.

Oh I do Blackadder, I'm silly all the time!

I'm off to drive 60-odd other peoples' children home from

school soon. Usually I work through all day starting and

finishing with school buses and trips and swimming

coach etc inbetween, but trips etc haven't started up

again yet.

I do get to drive adults out too on trips but I think they

must all be broke after their holidays at the moment.

It's very hot here, it would be nice to jump in the sea!

Bit cooler here today, frantically trying to get the washing done before the weather changes.

A bus full of kiddies sounds like fun, I love little uns they can be such fun. wonderful when you can give them back.

It's 30.5 in my kitchen, well, it was until I put the air con on. My littlest granddaughter started reception this morning. Off she went to paint while all the others were clinging to their mummies.

Oh what a lovely little girl she is grandma!

My oldest has just gone into year 10 - feels weird that he is growing up so fast. He looks like he should be going to work ((stubbly chin!!)) but not quite ready yet!

Grandson started infant school today. He loved it, wants to go tomorrow and was very cross because he can't go again until Tuesday. Everyone is hoping that he will settle in well as he does have some social difficulties.
