The presentation ceremony is on now. The part I don't like is the speeches that go on and on.

Had to drag Ole Misery Guts OH - but he's glad now. Great party atmosphere. We'd only to walk to the top of the road and turn left - I said 'how can we not go?'. I mean we had free tickets!

They had the gala dinner in a marquee outside the hotel, and we could hear them until about midnight.

Well Chris he did say 'it was a nice walk' We were only there a little while. And right enough you could see it better on the telly. My OH is not blessed with what you'd call a happy demeanour - I was the one skipping in my wellies and singing 'Viva Espana' - he says he married me because I was 'otherworldly' - which I think translates into bonkers - and that's fine by me.
