He had home made chicken stew and I had beef stew.  He had trifle.

Got the last of my home made pies out of the freezer. Made a pan full of home made chunky crispy chips to go with it. Cut the pie - noooooooooo - apple and blackcurrant.

So we had chip butties for mains and the pie for afters.
