Mondays, marvelous munchies

Been out for the day today and only just got back,  had a lovely lunch so I didn't want any tea, menfolk scoffing fish and chips as we speak.

I haven't done much today so I didn't feel much like eating so had carrot& coriander soup& a granary roll.

I had Chicken Kiev, chips, spinach & broccoli. It was lovely.

Duck breasts and roasted veg for me.  Never had roasted veg before, won't bother again either!

He had chicken stew.  We both had trifle.

We had left overs tonight from yesterday's Pork roast dinner. 🙂

We had chicken, stuffing, mixed veg and gravy.  Scrummy it was too.

Yes thanks stan, he's been much better today.  Trouble with him is he doesn't know his arris from his elbow so doesn't know what it is, where it is or what it feels like!!

The veg were ok, I didn't dislike them, it's just that they were as if I'd steamed peppers, courgettes and onions.  Not a lot of point, I'd have rather had sprouts!  Yummy yum!!

Oh yes I lurve sprouts especially next day mixed with crispy bacon and yesterdays mash made into patties and fried off in the bacon fat .................. yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
