Look at my beautiful flowers

These little beauties are Aquilegias and I have hundreds in my garden of all different colours, I have about 10 different colours ,the first one is a pale blue, and the other one dark pink and cream.  They are so pretty, sadly when they dye off they look a mess, and they seed everywhere, but whilst they are in flower I will make the most of them.

I used to have aquilegias, they're beautiful aren't they!   I wonder what happened to mine....I think they had a drive built on top of them.

If you want some, I will have plenty of seeds,  those two are both double headed.  The blue one was growing in the road outside a friends house, and I waited and waited and waited until they seeded and when I went back to get them, they had cut the grass bank and chopped their heads off,  luckily my friend had seen the tractor coming and ran out to rescue a few heads.

i have tried growing them several times but they do not like my garden but they grew in my mums garden like billy-o she had hundreds of them all colours.

Proper cottage garden flowers , I love em but I also couldn't grow em at the farm they seem to have a soil preference !.

CG, your sweet peas are coming up this year so I'm going to make a wigwam and set them up in a nice tub.

I'll get a piccie of our flowers tomorrow for you to nosey at. My friends just brought me a lovely rhododendron...Kalinka it's called, it's beautiful.
