Lol. We ended up sleeping in the car! And I managed to rescue some dry clothes for her so she was fine. Not seen so many tents down in a long while. She had a great rally, won two parrots in the raffle, and collected her first Rally award.

Now to try to take advantage of the sun and get the tent dry, so I can bring it in and repair it ready for the next adventure, which if Onions had her way would be next weekend!

In happier and (better) paid days, my definition of "roughing it" was always "no room service."

My sadistic relatives took me on a short walking trip last year. And I have to say that it was much pleasanter than I would ever have anticipated.

Apart from  the bit with the loo roll and the trowel.
