We have sewing machines and knitting machines or varying makes and models.
Is there such a thing as a crocheting machine

teensy weensy.
There are amazingly talented people who can crochet miniscule animals that are the size of a small fingernail.
The smallest I've used is a tatting hook - strictly speaking it's tatting but it's a bit like crochet.

I'm in awe of you ladies , wonderful work, I wish I'd got the patience to do such things.
Saasher Its really easy you buy the wool and take it to stroppys house and ask her to show you how to do it by the time youve understood she will have finished the project for you. And her hubby will supply you with a chair and cuppas and anything else you may need. Hes very very well trained you know. And its no trouble you just have to watch you dont hook up one of her tubes or other bits of equipment that surrounds her. She goes a very strange colour if you do especially if you have the chair leg on the oxygen

I believe I would not be able to now - if I was a couple of decades younger, I'd have had a go at a small toy, but nowdays I have too much discomfort with the ol bod creaking and groaning.
I can still use a standard small crochet hook to make lacy things with a cotton or silk stranded yarn and I may well have a go at crocheting a fine shawl that I have seen a pattern for, this winter.
But I don't think I'd ever have managed the really teensy items that some folk can make.

Saasher - I think you are right - just ignore me, lol. Sorry Petal!
Fabulous little bears Petal - do you have quite a collection? I recollect a previous thread from years ago on this subject.
