I'd just had my hip op!
I don't know if it seems longer ago or not that long.
The op itself was fine, the PE was a bit of a nuisance though, hadn't signed up for that!!

Yes. Even though it brings problems of it's own, they're 'liveable' with. I used to be not able to stand up, now I can't bend down. When you're in a pub, a cinema, a restaurant, a waiting room.....you need to be able to stand up after you've been sitting down. You don't really need to kneel on the floor in these places! 
If it wasn't for the fear of embolism I'd be happy to have any operation now, there was nothing to it!
wow I don't believe it was a year ago, little felty chicky was born....
I've lost 3mths of this year to a plaster cast, so this year is flying by for me...just think next week it will nearly be May
