contacting ebay

Why has eBay stopped having phone number for customer services because the common frequent questions dont always answer your query and cant post it on here!?

Maybe to facilitate contact between the two of you, it is probably easier to phone to arrange collection than try to play message tag through EBay.

When you buy anything through EBay the seller will get your postcode as part of your address and in the contact info will be your mobile number. The only thing that EBay don't provide is your email address, that is just shown as the link that would go to your EBay messages.

Do you mean you want to contact eBay customer services?

You ask for a call back or chat.

Here's a link that should bypass the automated assistant during working hours.

Tbh, the only times I've had any useful resolution with Ebay has been by direct messaging them through their Twitter feed. Far quicker than sitting on the phone too.

You can't phone eBay but they will Call You if you request a callback

The callback is usually within minutes

You're hoping for customer service presence and easy engagement from a corporate?
What ever happened to actually speaking with people - un'Social media' did, which can easilly be run by 'technology' rather than encouraging person-2-person relationship.
Roll on AI when there'll be no people to contact, until people actually want RI (Real intelligence) and corporations succum, rather like having on-shore contacts rather than foreign ones.

And MANY thanks to the link in the first reply, it's so hidden away by ebay, only problem is now, when ebay spot this post they'll no doubt move/remove/further hide the page !

Nope,  eBay won't remove that link / hide it etc. for 2  reasons.

They do not come to these boards,  and secondly,  it doesn't break any forum rules,  so the moderators here,  have no reason to,   and will not remove it.

I was trying to impress that the actual page/information at the end of the link (url) would be what ebay would 'ammend' to suit their want, not the link in this thread.
If ebay wanted contact then they'd simply have that information  on the contact us / help and contact links on the end of each web page, rather than burried away,   Corporate intent?
