Cancellation denied on wrong amount order.

I went to buy 1item from a seller and so selected 1 item in the drop-down menu. What I didn't know was that it had defaulted to a pack of 6 and I paid for that by mistake on the order page. I immediately contacted the seller, in under 5 minutes, and asked for a cancellation so that I could order the correct amount.

 

I got an automated reply stating that they were unavailable until the start of May and would NOT be processing any orders until then. I then got notice that the cancellation had been denied and that the items had been shipped (they provided a tracking number but the items won't be shipped until the start of May!)

 

I can't seem to do anything now and am quite hacked off that the seller decided to do this to me. Does anyone have any advice please?
