So, i think i have worked it out. Hope this makes sense.
Go to:
My Ebay/Accounts/Account Preferences/Communication preferences.
scroll down to "Selling Activity", click "edit" ( remember your settings (ticks)
Untick everything, "Save" settings, wait a few minutes
Go back and Tick all your settings (notifications required), "Save"
Hopefully this will reset your system and you will get notifications for sold items etc.

Which email provider are users not receiving emails using?
I'm with BT.

BT Here also we are getting emails from elsewhere and from this board just not ebay main site (not due many emails as its been the worst week for trade in over 12 years)

My email provider is my own website. Looks like BT may be the common thread.

Same here for me too - I am receiving customer enquiry emails but not the 'you made a sale...' emails since Saturday PM.

Has anyone resolved the no email thing as I tried to phone ebay re this and they say the problem must be our side as everything their side is working . I have not blocked email from ebay and all other emails coming through

Same thing happened to me. i was getting enquiries but no notifications for sale of items.
i had to go into, communications settings ( i think it was this one ) where all the tick boxes are to say what type of notifications you want.
i had to untick everything, save settings, wait a few minutes, go back in and tick everything again, save settings.
This apparently resets the system and worked for me.
i will try and find the correct page as it was hard to find and had to ask CS in the end to find it.

Hi All,
It looks like there is an issue with BT accounts not receiving emails.
Tech are currently looking into it. Ive added all the examples above to the report. Ill come back here once there's an update.

This is not true as i am not a BT customer and still had the issue.
