I am a recently VAT registered seller and so now I'm obligated to provide VAT invoices on request. How do i do this? I know there was once a way to do it through PayPal when the two were combined, but now that we get paid through eBay payments, I have no idea how to do this. PLEASE HELP!
I don't offer collection and I have never been able to generate an invoice/packing slip that includes my VAT number. VAT is displayed in the line total but I always have to print to pdf and manually edit the invoice to include my VAT number if a VAT invoice is requested by a customer.
I worked out how to get my VAT number to show on the invoices available from eBay but it doesn't give the full breakdown that you would normally get with a VAT invoice, so now I just make my own using a template.
