I’m so sick of the scammers on vehicles. I received so many obvious scam messages but then someone bought my car.
Their account was created on that same day, had zero feedback naturally. I checked on Reddit and people said after 4 days they won’t pay and I should be able to relist for free.
But only a few hours later they cancelled. Now EBay is asking for fees to relist?! Is this correct?

Listing fees are not refundable for Vehicles, sold or unsold but you can recover FVFs by opening an Unpaid case/s for non payment after 4 days and give those timewasters a well deserved account defect/strike.

Vehicle fees are not refundable that's why it's best to use classified ads for cars on ebay. They eliminate timewasters because you don't end the ad until the deal is done. Usually works out cheaper too at £19.99 flat fee. More info here:

Does accepting an offer remove the listing?
If the buyer doesn’t pay do I have to relist & pay the fees again?

Listing fees, are non refundable payable sale or no sale, and charged the second the item goes live.
Same if you advertised your vehicle for sale in your local paper, and a buyer came, viewed and didn't pay, or it received no viewings and didn't sell, the paper would not refund you your advertising fee.
As @fargvs described above, a Classified ad is the best option for selling a vehicle on eBay.

I have listed it as Classified as advised, so my questions were to further clarify for a Classified ad.

Accepting an Offer/BIN stops the listing immediately --- if a deal falls through, you will pay again to relist.
Best to just let the Classified 30 day listing run until you have a definite buyer and only then remove Ad.

Unfortunately I’ve accepted an offer. It wasn’t clear that accepting an offer would completely end a Classified listing and I would have to relist & repay fees even if the buyer doesn’t pay. ‘Accept offer’ & ’remove ad’ are completely different wording.
It seemed logical too that a buyer would want it accepted before travelling hours for pick up.
This is so frustrating.
