eBay Android App Not Working

Havent been able use ebay app for days.

I've cleared data, cleared cache still nothing. 

Uninstalled, restarted phone and reinstalled the app, still the same. 

It works on my older Samsung phone but not on my S23 Ultra. 

Just show the page below and when I try and log in, it just said technical difficulties.

Nope, I still have the same issue. Just tried downloading the app again but still the same.

+1ing this, on a Realme GT 5G with Android 14.

Have just installed an older version (6.161.0.1) as recommended elsewhere and it works fine.

Fix it eBay! This cannot be a difficult problem to verify!

Same problem with us. Xperia phone not working with ebay site. Needs fixing or a solution around this please....

Did you get a resolve on this matter, I have the same problem but with a notice to update but when I go to update, I already have the updated version, Tried uninstalling and re-installing but still the same and don't know what they mean by checking the Cache? Thanks in advance.

At present we have deleted the app altogether, and log in through a Google search to get us going. Will have more of a try when we get time. Found the app useful, so will try again later on.

I got a prompt on the old app version I was using that it was no longer supported and I'd need to update, so I have installed the latest from the Play Store and it seems to be working fine now.

Sorry to others who are still experiencing this, but hopefully it keeps working for me!

Latest versione is now working in my Samsung S23!

No. No resolution yet. You'll no doubt be as frustrated as I am with eBay

A Community Manager has posted this information a few days ago,  for all app users.

The latest eBay app version is no longer compatible with android 9 and below. It actually requires OS android 10 and above. If you have another device with android 10 and above you can check the most recently updated eBay app version and see if you can view images.

If you are using OS android 10 and above and still have issues with viewing images on the app please let me know. State what version you use and type of device and I'll have it looked into further by tech.

Hi disinfectant, thanks for your reply. I'm sure I've already tried
uninstalling and reinstalling the app (after which I was able to make the
one purchase) but will try again later. I live in hope!!

It's a Disgrace and a insult of waist Cash!! To sell this phone to Customers not even to add the information upfront ón ebay page  is a war of Lazy!! There is no need to get Smart and Stupid with Lazy and  lack of taking Cash The Low Clearly states ón ebay if the Customers are not happy with the phone project then it's Cash back guarantee however, by Low if the factory maker not honest the Company is not providing enough apps and settings for any smart phone them I believe the manufacture phone company are definitely breaking the low and not Been honest with there Customers. The manufacture phone company should be honest and get there act together and south out this miss customers are upset . because at the end of the day its not right its not really the company a cash more likely stolen is a Very bád way to do Business there are apps like Twitter and ebay Not supported for Business also place fix what ever nees to foxed if there's apps are not in anyway added there will be a court of low sometime in the near future, so place do the right thing by adding more apps to make Customers happy that is all I will say.!!! Só get your act right and let's do Business.!!!!!! And that goes for ebay as will remember mony back guarantee.!!!
