Hi folks.
I am having trouble logging-in via my preferred 2-step verification method.
I use eBay on my computer.
The secure login method I prefer to use is the "App notification" method.
When I use this method, the app notification runs as normal (as it should).
I tap on it, and open the notification.
However, inside the notification, sadly, I cannot tap on "Approve", as a "Warning Triangle" appears inside the notification, and I cannot proceed (as tapping on "Approve" does not work).

This problem started from circa 12/02/2025. Before that, I did not experience this problem.
For the moment, I am using text and email 2-step verifications, but I feel that these are not as secure as the app notification method.
I am getting disconcerted at using these less secure methods.
About my setup:
I am running a fully up-to-date eBay App, and a fully up-to-date Android OS on my phone.
Details:
- Android version: 14
- Android OneUI version: 6.1
- eBay app version: 6.195.0.2.
- eBay app status: Operational and logged-in when used on phone.
I'm a little at a loss on how to solve this problem.
I'd be very grateful for any suggestions on a fix.

Quick update.
I tested out the following, with a poor result:
- Uninstalling and re-installing the eBay app from the Google Play Store.
- Powering-off and powering-on my mobile phone.
Following a few later login attempts, the end result was that, after this, the option to login using 2-step authentication via the eBay "app notification" feature was lost completely.
I checked to see if the option was still enabled on my account page. According to that page, it should have been available.

Needless to say, this was very disappointing.
My final solution has been to abandon 2-step notification via the eBay app, and fall-back on 2-step verification via Google Authenticator instead. Google Authenticator is a reliable solution, and works.
