App issue Issue with Description

Hi all,

I’m having a problem with the description area on my unsold listings. The section where you normally edit the description has become scrambled – please see the attached image for reference.

This issue has been happening since the last three eBay app updates.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

It’s occurring on both my iPad Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. Both devices are fully updated with the latest versions of iOS and the eBay app.

latest Ebay update didn't fix this issue Ebay suggested delete app reinstall which didn't fix it either. 

I'm guessing I'm the only one who's had this issue too,.

Same for me on my iPad 

the text is showing in html format when you go to relist/revise

If you’re not amending any of the description you can leave it like that

as a live listing it will appear normal 

You can remove the coding which makes it easier to change /add to your description 

Just highlight the brackets and codes and delete

headache  though

ps possibly the desktop version doesn’t have this problem if you don’t mind using it maybe try that

Desktop is fine but its the phone app I used the most  can't be that difficult to fix surely 

For me I think its time to pull the plug on Ebay sales have been zero. simple delivery is now enforced so I cant cover my shipping mailler costs etc.
