I left negative feedback ( twice now ) but the feedback has gone. It does not appear on my feedback

I bought from a 'trusted' seller, and could not leave negative feedback for several days. When I did, the feedback shows as given on the item - but the actual feedback does not show in my list, and the seller also does not show the feedback.

It looks like the transaction never happened!

 

We rely on the feedback to identify poor sellers, if there is a mechanism to make negative feedback dissappear then this breaks the model that we rely on!

Can't believe some of the feedback you have left! I'm not surprised they were removed...

 

leaving neg feedback for a seller because you never received items in time for your party...was that really the sellers fault? Once posted it is in the hands of the courier.....OR was it your fault for when ordering not allowing enough time ( or seeing sellers handling time) for delivery before the party...

 

I'm sure most members would not rely on that sort of feedback to ascertain if they dealt with the seller or not...on the contrary, they would probably add your ID to their BB list !

 

BTW.. you cannot leave feedback for business sellers until 7 days have lapsed...you are supposed to contact the seller to give them the opportunity to work something out

did you go through the resolution process or just leave negative feedback?

 

 

if you don't use the resolution centre and just leave negatives sellers can apply to get them removed.

 

 

if you did open a case and mentioned it in the feedback, the seller can get it removed

Sellers can apply to ebay to get neg f/b removed.  Usually only is with good reason.   Or eBay are now automatically removing negs relating to postal delays due to Covid.
