Hi tommy.irene! Now THAT was scarry! Sure, the kid in the baby buggy was frightening, but that's not the bad part. The truly bad part is that that kid is going to immigrate to America, and will become one of our most successful politicians in twenty years or so.
They did something like this recently, down in South America some place, but I can't find it now. An elevator would stop between floors, and a ghostly young girl would appear in the elevator, screaming for a moment, and then disappear. The people in the elevator were literally petrified with fear!
PICTURE, IF YOU WILL, a hospital conference room. filled with people in wheel chairs. Most of them have both of their legs in casts, all of them have their necks in casts, and a few have arms in casts as well. They are in a circle. In the center of the circle are two hospital staff members, giving them a lecture. And the caption to this picture reads:
"Bungee Jumpers Annonymous Support Meeting..."
Twang, twang, twang, splat - thud!

Is this a new god....
Nun who gave birth in Italy 'unaware of pregnancy'
A nun who gave birth to a baby boy in the central Italian city of Rieti, said she had no idea she was pregnant, local media report.
The 31-year-old was rushed to hospital with abdominal pains, which she thought were stomach cramps.
The young mother, who is originally from El Salvador, reportedly named her newborn Francis after the current Pope.
The mayor of Rieti, Simone Petrangeli has appealed to the public and media to respect the woman's privacy.
The news has drawn international attention to the small city of 47,700 inhabitants.
The nun called the ambulance on Wednesday morning. A few hours later she gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
"I did not know I was pregnant. I only felt a stomach pain," she was quoted as saying by the Ansa news agency.
People at the hospital have begun collecting clothes and donations for the mother and her child, Italian media say.
The woman belongs to a convent near Rieti, which manages an old people's home.
Fellow nuns at the convent said they were "surprised" by the news.
Local pastor Don Fabrizio Borrello told journalists that the nun planned to take care of the baby.
"I guess she's telling the truth when she says she arrived at the hospital unaware of the pregnancy."

I'm always a bit amused when there is an earthquake which some put down to the wrath of God and then when a person, preferably a small child, is dug out alive after a number of days, they call it a miracle from God.
Completely failing to see the incongruity.

Hi everybody! As far as the Catholic Nun is concerned, I wish her the very best! Unfortunately, the incredible irony in her situatiion, not to mention hints of a fascinating scandal, will probably mean that the media just won't let this alone, and right now that's what she needs most, quiet and security. And, yes, there will be some people as well who hope that this is a genuine miracle of some kind. I hope that the Vatican, as an act of mercy, will transfer her to some nice pastorial location. I don't happen to be Catholic, but she has my support.
Meanwhile - has anyone ever considered the ancient religion called Zoroastinism (I think that's right) with their god, Adhura Mazda. I hope I have that correct as well, but at my age, I've probably misspelled something along the way. I can see some hippie in downtown San Francisco reading a short news story about the group, and saying, "Man, I can dig that! Zorro driving a Mazda. Yeah! One Toke over the Line for the Z Man..."
We are very diverse here in the United States - not too well organized, certainly, and almost never sane (myself included), but definitely diverse.
