I my youth, we could push the boundaries just so far; then My Father would issue those words "Right Enough is Enough" and woe betide us if we pushed things one inch further. Today, looking around at the World, with Governments lying to their people, Countries exercising a billigerent attitude; while denying it to the rest of the World, Children being abused, while those who were supposed to be looking after them deny all knowledge etc. etc. etc. Have we reached a stage where enough is NEVER enough any more and we are never actually going to put our foot down over anything at any stage. The ulimate, mamby pamby, wishy washy, society of spineless beings, that have turned organisations like N.A.T.O. and the U.N. into disfunctional entities that are not fit for purpose ?

NATO....namby pamby..wishy washy...spineless. You are quite right Evoman. The whole world is standing by and watching those inhuman IS jihadists murder, torture and execute people. We form these wonderful alliances, which then sit back on their fat backsides; doing nothing collectively in our name, regardless of what goes on around them. They will undoubtedly be the band, still playing on the Ship of Mankind; as it sinks into oblivion.

OK then, what do you think should be done then? Wade in mob-handed and do...... what?

So you decide which "side" you you're going to pitch in on, go in, cause mayhem then try to extricate yourself after the protagonists join forces to see you as an enemy and when you've finally got out after it's cost you a few £billion, you watch it all kick off again as they start fighting each other yet again?

We go in with "rules of engagement" which effectively mean fighted with an arm and a leg tied behind our backs to fight an enemy which has no such rules and often doesn't care how many people (whether they be soldiers or civilians) they take with them when they fight the fanatic fight.

It's awful, it's nasty, but we should keep our noses OUT. Otherwise, you have to go in there and see everyone there as an enemy and see them all off.

It seems we are having trouble controlling anything now in this world. On the t.v last night they were saying about people sleeping in London rough. I mean the people who have come across from other countries. "How shall we deal with the problem?" they were saying. WELL perhaps if you thought of that before you opened the barn Door so to speak to all and sundry who come over and claim benefits, and then look for work. ITS a BIT LATE NOW!!!!!.

The Drug problem is spiralling out of control,,every night you hear another young person has been stabbed in London and other places or another child has been abducted. And finally YES!!!!!! an endless round of Paedophiles coming to surface!!!!. Is there any hope?. And YES there probably will be another jihadi bombing soon somewhere. What are we going to do Government???. Come On!!.

I doubt we will ever stop it Rose and do we have the will, inclination or mandate to even try? People irk at the thought of troops and tanks on the ground and yet they moan about a lack of response when measures fall short of this! What do people want and how are we learning from previous lessons?! Also consider what has led to this; is this not a result of what has gone before giving even more reason for careful condieration and reflection now?
