We lived in caves, we've progressed. That is all absolutely marvellous, we, the human population, are great. We really are, we're the most intelligent life form, we have feelings, we have total control of our limbs, emotions and actions.

To this end, however, some humans have created disasters in the animal and natural world, conquering flora and fauna just because they can, and that (IMO) is nothing to be proud of. I'm ashamed, sometimes, to be a human.

Other times, I'm proud, because humans can show such kindness to each other and to their surroundings.

Meaning of Life? - Well, I suppose most of us who are nice, just try to do our best for everyone and everything, hoping to counteract those in life who are simply horrid!!! 

I like to think the nice people outweigh the nasties - that is my meaning of life - good will prevail

There have been so many changes in life and it has to happen. when you think how people used to live. Well like someone previously said we lived in caves and did not speak only in grunts (ha ha ha i have been accused of doing that myself ha LOL). Going foraging for food,,so supermarkets in those days!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Even the natural disasters and bad people are there to bring out the best in others, to come up with solutions. So even in that is enormous creation.

And there is more good than bad in this world, we just often forget to look at it or for it. The media fills us with doom and gloom, but when you really start to focus on all the good stuff you might be surprised at what you find around you.

Harry ..... I find it difficult to concentrate on "the good stuff" when every day we open a newspaper or turn on the NEWS only to find that another 1,000 innocents or so  have been killed in a civil war somewhere for simply worshiping the wrong God (according to another branch of God Botherers) when, as a comic once said, "There are 5 main religions on Earth so, if you believe in a god, on your last day alive, you will stand before the 5 main gods and 4 of them will hold up a piece of cardboard with the word, "BLUFF" written on it in big letters.

The true meaning of life is life itself.  It's highlighted by those rare and beautiful moments when wonderful things happen,  You know, the first moment you hold your newborn child, or looking at a pretty flower, or holding a newborn kitten - a new bit of life.  It's those things.  It's also those sad, shared moments of deep sorrow when you understand the true deep undescribable value of loss.
