Not sure, but could be the same outfit that was offering DNA tests to people researching their family history, to find out if they originated in another country.
In that context, harmless enough, but could be worrying or worse if used for health reasons.
It cant tell you that you will get this or that, only that you might, and that applies to all without a test.

Sounds a bit too fatalistic to me which I don't like!

Looks like a recipe for mistakes and misinformation as DNA is a vast area with interpretation requiring a lot more than a "simple test" can identify.
DNA can be damaged by many things and everyone will have some damage, it depends upon just which bits are damaged and how badly. Some damage is "repaired" naturally but other damage remains so leading to cancer. A "simple" test could easily lead to assumptions that the damage was genetic rather than a natural occurrence.
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

As these sorts of 'tests' beome more widely available you can expect the insurance companies to start taking an interest

People who have an extremely unhealthy Lifestyle, Drink / Smoke heavily; Take drugs, eat far too much etc.etc. are highly unlikely to take the test. If they were that concerned about their health, they would have done something about it already. People who have a healthy Lifestyle, eat well, exercise, etc etc are highly unlikely to take the test, because they couldn't do much more than they're doing already to stay healthy..............so it's pointless.........and as has been said, unproven.

The NHS is already overrun by hypochondriacs suffering from a daily wail or google based terminal disease.
Having said that I reckon you can save time, worry and peace of mind by comparing notes with others via google and trying a few self help remedies.
The difference is you help yourself you don't require a nurse maid
Well...you have said that. Nothing like an URGE is there
That daily wail....WOW!
See you.

Here is a really difficult virus about at the moment, boxer Tyson fury had it and had four doses of ante biotics in an attempt to get rid. In all it lasted 8 weeks, I have had the virus for around 6 weeks not seen the GP just being sensible, ignoring the frustration and getting on with work, So many wilt at the first sign of a snuffle and then jump on the phone to pour their heart out to a GP. Yes man flu lives.
Well...I was rather thinking of your urge to blame the daily wail. But never mind you can if you want. Peace brother

And that is why we are running out of usable antibiotics. Antibiotics do not kill viruses, It is a total waste of time and money and increases the chances of antibiotic resistance in bacteria.
