They've done it again!

There's over a week to go until the election and the BBC have removed all the links to regional news outlets from all their regional news sites.

What's the big idea? The BBC isn't impartial (I think they're very leftish/liberal biased) so have they done it because they consider that other news sites may try to "influence" voters?

Not sure what the difference is other than the title - they're all local news sites.

The difference is... when you go to the Sussex region.... halfway down the page is "Today's South East news website headlines".

If you go to Lancashire (for instance), there isn't an equivalent item on the page.

There should be, right at the bottom, a link "Other news sites". It's not there. It was yesterday.

I wondered whether it was just Windows but I've just checked on an iPad and there's no "Other news sites" on the BBC there either.

Simples - Nothing much happening in Lancashire.

I only picked Lancashire as an example, all the other regions are the same. Is it all happening only in the South East?

Don't know if this will help CD but as you have explained a little better what you are actually missing on ocassion, I can confirm that on my windows 10 PC, android phone and tablet I am not getting the link you describe "Other news sites" 

I'm only able access what creeky is displaying.

I wouldn't actually know if I get them sometimes like you say you do as I don't use the News website much anyway.

Well now, the link is back now "From other local news sites".

Why do they remove it?
