Also, regarding what could or might be done here, this is what we're up against:-

I think you will find a better summary of Corbyns pacifist leanings here; http://bit.ly/1YdzPDg

And as far as EVOs suggestion goes great! but lets be honest its not exactly on the cards right now is it?

Re: Shooting in Paris

I don't read any of those newspapers Joe. I have been watching developments on TV and have seen very little condemnation from moderates in this country.  I would think it would be in the interests of Muslims in this country to call for huge demonstrations of condemnation of the atrocities being perpetrated in the name of Islam.

Corbyns.

Joe. A "solution" would be very, very long term and wouldn't happen until there had been a drastc re-education and there was a general acceptance by them that most of what's written in their book is nonesense.

Re: Shooting in Paris

After reading it, Corbyn has made some valid points

Shoot to kill can be counterproductive - it creates Martyrs, and more fighters for the cause - whatever the cause is. History has shown us this, many times over.

His comments about funding are very relevant. Daesh are extremely well funded, if the finace could be disrupted it would help. Sadly, arms and war are very profitable, so I can't see it happeneing

CD,i've no idea how they will be drastically re educated, but French bombs,US bombs and even Russian bombs won't eliminate them,if anything it will act as a further recruiting ground for their abhorant cause, why do you think France was attacked? and probaly why the Russian flight was blown up? I read that the Free Syrain Army has been passing co ordinates of isis positions to the Russians for bombing runs, now if those 2 can work together, maybe with Iranians as well the battle with isis will be won on the ground,That's the only way out of this - them winning victories together and supporting each other and putting areas they liberate under the control of the localCommittees, you have to remember the Russians were actually invited in,according to reports the Russians have isis fleeing for the hills, but eventual victory will only come through boots on the ground, but please let it not be our troops who suffer, after Iraq and Afghanistan enough is enough

Re: Shooting in Paris

and that's why things only ever get sorted out, by this admirable species of ours, by having a "World" War. Everybody picks a side, millions get slaughtered and the last man standing wins..........then all is quiet ( maybe even for 20 years or so ) until the memories fade, another generation takes over, or somebody else hears little voices in their head ( usually Gods )..........and off we go again. People don't learn lessons, people don't get better, people don't progress, people don't stay sorry for long, they're just born, procreate, ruin everything they touch.........then die. If you ask me, this is a failed experiment if ever I've seen one and "Armageddon " is long overdue.

That just reinforces the view that the EU and it's open borders are just part of a bigger plan.

We are definately all being sold a pup:

First we have Soros who want's open boarders in Europe.

http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/260665/soros-national-borders-are-enemy-matthew-vadum

For anyone who doesn't recognise the name, Soros is a Nazi collaborator who sold his fellow Jews out to the Germans during the last Great War and is responsible for Black Wednesday here back in 1992 when we as a nation were nearly declared bankrupt.

Then in 1997 he created the financial crisis in Thailand.

He is the person that the American government go to for loans so he has the finances to see the open boarders through.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Soros

Now lets look at a few facts that have come up since the carnage in Paris.

1..A suicide bomber blows himself up and his passport  manages to remain intact and is quickly discovered to show that he is a refugee that passed through Leros.

The cynic in me is telling me this is very convenient.

2..The French launch a major bombing raid {with a grand total of 20 bombs} on key ISIS locations, the intel for these locations came from the Yanks.

If the Yanks had this intel why did the not bomb these sites?

I don't think that it's any coincidence that Americans have elections coming up.

With Obama and the rest of the Democrats regarded too Liberal in their policies about immigration, welfare, foreign policy and the right under the second amendment for Americans to bear arms some sectors of the American establishment would not think twice about doing what it takes to hand Donald Trump the keys to the Whitehouse in 2016.

Re: Shooting in Paris

The danger of an Anti Muslim backlash is precisely why it would be a very good idea for Muslims in this country to disassociate themselves from these radicalised fanatics.

Man LOL  And I have noticed YOU have.

WOW!  all those links.  And everyone is reading them? I like many would think at this time, it would be very appropriate for a MARCH with 'NOT IN MY NAME' boards. It would mean so much to non Muslims, and Muslims. So why not ?

The Muslim world are going to have to do something about these crazed individuals and sects. That means they are going to have to do something to take them head on, whether they like it or not. Don't expect the non-Muslim world to do it.

Re: Shooting in Paris

This from the Prime Minister yesterday:

" We have to stop this seed of hatred even being planted in people's minds, let alone allowing it to grow". He went on "It is not good enough to say that Islam is a religion of peace and then deny any connection between the religion of Islam and the extremists.

These extremists are self-identifying as Muslims. From Tunisia to the streets of Paris, these murderers all spout the same twisted narrative that claims to be based on a particular faith". He added, " We can't stand neutral in this battle of ideas".

He also said that more needed to be done to tackle elements in Muslim communities who were allowing extremism to spread by tolerating or ignoring it.

He said " Unwittingly or not, those who promote extremist views-even if non-violent themselves- provide succour to those who want to commit, or get others to commit, violence".

He called for a greater effort to promote integration of Muslims in the wider community, by moving away from segregation in our schools and communities and inspecting and shutting down educational institutions that are teaching intolerance.

And that is from our Prime Minister, who obviously doesn't think that ordinary Muslims are doing enough to disassociate themselves from extremism.

There.....I have been paying attention.

Your underlying assumption of collective guilt by association is extremely dangerous even if you don't think it is,this is one of the results:

http://news.stv.tv/east-central/1332573-takeaway-owners-attacked-by-mob-of-15-citing-revenge-for-par...

A Scots couple have been violently assaulted by a gang outside their takeaway in Fife.

Mohammed Khalid and his wife run the Caspian Fast Food outlet on Wellesley Road in Methil.

They were set upon by a group of around 15 people in the early hours of Sunday as they closed up.

Mr Khalid, 53, required hospital treatment for a serious injury to his eye and his wife suffered minor injuries as she tried to help him.

The couple claim the men involved in the attack repeatedly cited the Paris terrorist incidents, Islamic State (IS), terrorism and subjected them to racist abuse."

The sort of people who will assume Muslims do support terrorism are not going to have their minds changed by a march, maybe the next time i order an indians i should enquire if he is an isis supporter, and if he refuses to answer order from pizzahut instead?
