Every year there's loads of antique clocks that get damaged by owners turning the hands back.
Some clocks can be safely turned back, most antique striking/chiming clocks cannot.

Spend a few thousand quid on a Vauxhall Corsa and you get a car that has a clock that you never need to touch, because it alters / corrects itself. Spend £100,000 on a car and you've got to alter / correct the clock yourself..............go figure ???

I've had a radio controlled clock for many years. I didn't have to buy a car to get it.

I shall look forward to Windows 10 actually showing the right time for the next 6 months.
No matter how often I reset it, it still refuses to acknowledge BST.

If I had a £100.000 car I wouldn't care what time it was, I'd just drive it all day and night ![]()

I think one of the latest Windows updates, was to sort this problem, some people get
(have you set your Timezone correctly and allowed daylight saving option ? )
Must admit it is a problem I've never had on any of my computers, they always changed.
----------------------------
The only clock I need to change, is the stereo clock radio beside my Bed
Like CeeDee My other clocks are radio controlled ones that change themselves

Everything is set correctly and it is the only PC I have with the problem.
Perthaps there will be an update eventually if it's a general problem, I don't use it that much, preferring Linux Mint.

My PCs have always updated automatically, so much so I've never even thought about it and this morning my Windows 10 laptop has not let me down.

My laptop, Android tablet and ipad all updated automatically as always.

My computers, phone, RC clock and my boiler all changed the time OK. I had to manually change my Rolex, wall clock and the chime clock I've got on test.

I think any radio-controlled device that receives daily updates will automatically change. So PC's, laptops, smart phones, DAB radios and other devices such as cee-dee's boiler will all change by 'magic'.
That will also be the case with the Corsa and hopefully my new car (which I can't be bothered checking today). Obviously the £100k luxury/super car only has a standard radio, if it has one at all.

Just been out in my car for the first time since the weekend and no the time hasn't automatically updated. I got a shock when I glanced at the clock and it said 11:04am - "What, already!" Then I remembered it was probably 10:04am.
Brand new car, DAB radio that I can talk to and more gizmo's than I know what to do with, but it doesn't tell me the correct time! ![]()

If I remember correctly, with the Corsa, ( it's long gone to another home now ) because the radio display & the clock used the same display unit ( in the upper part of the middle of the dash )......the radio had to be ON, for a period of time, for the clock to pick up the time signal and change itself.![]()

It's probably that bit that's important. The signal must be sent every "now and then" and if the radio is on..... great. If not, you'll need the handbook. It was very simple to change, but it's clearly......

Good grief, it must take you the whole of Sunday just to vac that place!
You'd probably need that extra hour
