There are a few things that it needs to have to make it even worth going for a look at.
It needs t be the kind of car that you need to climb up into rather than climb down into. I learned that with my Jag. Back problems are a beggar. The following are not in any particular order but they are all important.
They must all have Sat/Nav.
It must be either Automatic or Semi- Automatic
The boot area must be large enugh to carry a motorised scooter .
So far, I've seen 3 cars that i've been looking at.
The Citroen C4
The Ford Galaxy Estate
And the Volkswagon Toucan Estate
Any other ideas?? Just throw them in, lol

If the badge doesn't bother you and it shouldn't , because underneath it's a VW.

I have loved Citreons Stevie, I remember telling you how good our C3 picasso was when you were looking before.
We plumped for a C4 picasso after that, and sad to say it has put us right off having another citreon again, we have had nothing but trouble with it. Size wise lovely, drives ok, but had to get used to no hand brake, but noisy and rattles and some design faults have made us want to go elsewhere.
Think next time round we would like to go for a Skoda Yeti, or a Vauxall Zafira.

They must all have Sat/Nav.
I would not let that put me off the right car. Mobile units are cheap now and cheaply and easily updated. The same cannot always be said of many installed units. You can actually buy a complete sat nav for the price of updating some installed units.

I must admit, the Sat/Nav is a wifey thing. She gets lost going to the local ASDA, (2 miles)
I also must admit to liking the Forester but the snag there is that the rea end is too low. It won't allow easy fitting of scooter gear.
The Skoda is another one to think about and the badge doesn't bother me one bit.As for the HV ...... I'll let that one go if you pay the gas bills, lol.
Re the Citroen C4. we had one of those a few years ago.Couldn't fault it ecept that it came in second to a Tranny on the motorway and got scrapped.

How about a Mercedes G-Wagen? The possibilities are endless - you can even go offroading in them if the desire so takes you! Buying a new one with all the spec you listed could be quite expensive, so it may be better to look at buying secondhand if you decided to buy one. They've got lots of space in the boot - you could easily fit a motorised scooter in the back. However, as with any vehicle that you have to climb up into, lifting something of that weight up and into the vehicle isn't exactly going to do your back any favours...

You climb up into it, you can lift anything into the back of it.............it's got it ALL really.
