Previously unseen footage of the shooting has been released using the 50 year rule.
Claims are being made that the headwound was caused by a shot from the driver of the presidential limo.
Here's a link to the video.
What do you think?

He felt like it and took the opportunity before him.
If you research the things Ruby did that day you'll see that it was a "spur-of-the-moment" thing, not a planned action.
One thing the thread's shown up so far is that even after 50 years, people are still not aware of things which are undisputed and are still lost in the the misinformation of the early days.

Hi folks, apologies for intruding . . .
. . . but I don't think that anyone's mentioned this new publication/presentation:

I don't get into discussions about JFK any more, but after watching the Counter Intelligence documentatries - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmyzHuxgY2E - nothing would surprise me!

Five, that first video contains stuff that doesn't match the forensics. Files "testimony" is rubbish.

50 years ago, it was hard to get hold of a lot of info. Today, it's much easier but sadly there's still those who only adopt the same attitude as the 60's = latch on to some bit of misinformation and take it as fact then spread it as widely as possible.

Hey Sam, how about performing a remote PM on JFK based on available info?
It might not come amiss to give a pathological explanation of how a bullet entering a skull at high velocity can "disrupt" the "contents" so much that in the split seconds before the bullet exits, some of the "contents" are expelled through the entry hole?

Hi guys - I really don't have a point of view to contradict on this . . .
. . . I've watched Files' interview tapes and I couldn't help thinking that his memory was unrealistically clear . . .
But then I know enough about cointelpro to reserve judgement on what I'm told to believe . . .
So, as I said, I don't bother getting into discussions about JFK these days . . .

People who still think there was a shooter on the Grassy Knoll should watch this slo-mo and see the ejecta from the entry hole (on the right):-

A skull, even though it's much harder than that type of pumpkin behaves in the same way.

As LHO's shooting ability has been called in to question, a little known fact is that he purchased the Carcarno and had it fitted with a scope, then he went to a shooting range and got a bloke there to zero the scope for him.
After doing that, the chap who zero'd the scope asked LHO to try it and he fired three shots scoring a bullseye at 100 yards with all three.
LHO was at the shooting range at least twice more after that so he'd had some practice with the gun before shooting JFK. The range from the book depository window to the position JFK was in at the head-shot was 265 FEET!
At that range and resting on the windowsill, I think even I could have made that shot with an ordinary .22 using only long rifle HV cartridges. It would have been much easier with the 6.5 m/m rifle and the ammo LHO used which had a greater powder charge. (That is, much greater than the charge in a .22 HVLR)

I remember fifty years ago hearing the original news. I was taking a journalism class at a junior college in Pasadena, California, and the staff was notorious for playing practical jokes, some of which were rather sick. I was walking down the hallway to class, when somebody yelled that "JFK has been shot," and all I could think was that this was even worse than their normal humor - then I heard the radio broadsast, and it sunk in.
After Ruby shot Oswald in the Dallas Police Station, a joke went all over Los Angeles. It went like this:
QUESTION: What did the Dallas Police say when an elephant walked into the Dallas Police Station?
ANSWER: Nothing. Nobody saw it.
JFK knew very well that Dallas was the capitol of Redneck Central, and that the wackos were armed to the teeth. He was flaunting it all when he rode in that parade. Please understand - I am not opposed to his viewpoints, but I wish he had used better judgement.

WARNING. Don't watch this if you're liable to be upset:-

The video shows the shooting from the famous Zapruder film digitally enhanced and in slow motion. There are several different sequences with differing degrees of enhancement. As the film had no soundtrack, while the shots are being displayed, there is no commentary so don't think your sound has failed.
