Previously unseen footage of the shooting has been released using the 50 year rule.
Claims are being made that the headwound was caused by a shot from the driver of the presidential limo.
Here's a link to the video.
What do you think?

Don't see it myself, if the footage is clean "not tampered with" that is.
The driver would have to have his arm well up in the air and pointing back and to his right to get the second shot, going by what is visible in this footage, of the bullets trajectory.
Hm dury's out for me.... I don't think we will ever have the truth.

Those who think there was a conspiracy will continue to do so.
Those who don't, won't.

Following on from Bank's comment, there are those who, when faced with a black wall would still argue that it wasn't black!

Has anyone ever seen the "reconstruction" where a car was mocked up to be exactly the same as the JFK Lincoln Continental and fitted with ballistic heads? They constructed a shooting position at the same elevation as the window in the book depository, used the same rifle and ammo as used by LHO, "drove" the limo at the same speed and had fans providing the same wind speed and shot at the same distance as LHO.
The "blood and tissue" splatter was identical to that from JFK even to that which was projected backwards. That bit gave the lie to "theories" that a shot or shots were fired from in front of the car. Even the original witness sceptics were surprised at the results so all claims that shots were fired from any place other than the window in the book depository are, to coin a phrase "out of the window".

Some people just don't want it to be, do they.

CD .... That's all very well until you are told that a marksman fired the shots from the mock up and that LHO was classed as "Lower than average" at marksman skills in the Marines and that a person of his calibre (pardon the pun) would not have been expected to make that shot at a standing target, never mind multiple hits at a moving target.
As far as I'm concerned, the book is still open.

Oswald qualified as "Sharpshooter" and later his qualification fell to "Marksman".
In the reconstruction, they used a shooter with similar ability to Oswald.
If you've tried shooting at moving targets, you'll know that the degree of difficulty is greatest when the target is moving across your field of vision (90º) and the difficulty reduces as the angle reduces.
Oswald was shooting at such a reduced angle that the degree of difficulty was in his favour to make the shot(s).

I'm not convinced LHO was the assassin, good telly last night JFK's secret killer, makes me more confused.

It seems to me that no matter WHAT the subject, no matter what evidence is produced, there are those who WANT to believe anything but a rational explanation.
Challenged to produce any solid evidence to the contrary, all we get is waffle and "I don't believe it".

Quite, all they come up with is ill-thought-out theories.
It was astonishing to see the blood/bone/tissue splatter from the ballistic heads which behaved exactly the same as that from JFK.
Like you say, you'd think that everything would be projected in the direction in which the bullet's travelling but that's not so, some of the debris from the head was projected back over the trunk (the boot) in exactly the same way as from poor JFK.
In the film shot of the actual shooting, poor Jackie was scrambing back over the trunk trying to retrieve part of JFK's head which is why some people thought shots were fired from in front of the car.

Do you know there was a man who was nailed to a cross untill he died... then 3 days later he got up and walked again and people are still talking about it. and that took place 1000 years ago. They wrote a book about it.

I think the backwards projection was caused by the impact velocity causing so much displacement within (the remains of) the skull that some was forced out through the entry "hole" taking with it some of the already broken pieces of the skull.
