Previously unseen footage  of the shooting has been released using the 50 year rule.

Claims are being made that the headwound was caused by a shot from the driver of the presidential limo.

I'm not sure , i that's why I asked in the hope that someone would confirm or not, even so ,a soldier even if unstable would plan his moves& yes it's a known fact you can smuggle rifles about without being found out. We have proof of that every day!

I believe LHO was a sharp shooter from information gained on an earlier post , sharp shooter, means accurate.

Further to that , if he killed to get away why on earth would he risk losing his life in a foolhardy point blank shooting which I might add isn't certain of success, it just doesn't make sense!

The gun came apart so it was easier to wrap/disguise, then it would be less than 3 feet long.

In my youth I used to regularly carry, without any problem, either a shotgun or an air rifle hidden on my person when indulging in a little poaching.

Well he wanted JFK dead and to that end he succeeded and imo it was mainly thanks to JFK's security ,and thats what doesn't make sense.
