The word "offender" is set to be dropped to be replaced with either "person with convictions" or "person with an offending history".
One word replaced with three or five? Is that crazy or what?

Gosh!. Some powers that be again possibly trying to justify their wages by coming up with this now.
A friend of mine works as prison warden. Several years ago a new ruling came in to say all prisoners must be called 'Sir/Madam' and before the cells were unlocked in a day the wardens were required to knock first. My friend did say it was short-lived due to ridicule by prisoners. Much to the relief of the prison wardens as they didn't feel all that was justified.

Brilliant plan, that'll really make offenders, sorry, persons with convictions, think twice before they commit another crime.

I know that a huge number of offenders go on to re-offend but I don't see the need to label them for life on the basis of previous convictions. So what's wrong with calling them ex-offenders?

PC gone mad
NO -
Just the train wreck SNP Government showing that idiotic schemes and token campaigns are a lot more important to them, than actually Governing - the Country is failing under their steardship, every thing they touch they muck up, they are not fit for Government.

I think a saying that says a lot about people and about ourselves, is:
" Fool me once......shame on you.........fool me twice..........shame on ME "
That allows everybody the luxury of making mistakes, but to make a habit of it; is just taking the ****.
