How will Tony Blair be remembered by history?

Man SurprisedWoman Surprised

Will you be celibrating? Tomorrow it will be 20 years to the day since he was elected leader of the Labour Party (God help us) after the death of John Smith. Now seems an appropriate time to take stock. It is obvious that Blair has passed the first test of history - he is still relevant, he is still listened to. Or to put it more bluntly. he can still enrage people.

History shouldn't be judging this man, the British courts should. To international crimes such as the Iraq war to him and his cohert Andrew Nether for changing the face of this country forever. It is not just the lying, the duplicity and the war mongering.

The insane political correctness that refused to look at 'Islam' - turned Birmingham and parts of London into Islamic ghettos, led to Lee Riby's murder and Islamic extremism in our schools - is directly attributable to Blair, Gordon Brown and their cronies. The boggling 'arrogance' recently when he attacked Farage, and claimed mass immigration made no difference to the job prospects of the unemployed Britons. The man who used his country to make a personal fortune for himself.

The man who wrecked Britain. The list goes on and on, but the pathological hatred of political party for ordinary people who have to watch as their country destroyed by evil legislation in every field of influence.  He should stand in the dock.

IMO.

You would think Blair would be a bit more outspoken about the continuing civilian massacre in Gaza,Him having religion and all that.

Well look below, the outcome of ''religious differences''and a trail of human suffering. And what are the consequences of the MH317 disaster? It is a global issue. They need to send a strong and clear message to Russia. We can't jump to conclusions, but something very strange is going on here IMO.  (And look at the way they are dealing with the victims bodies by dumping them in 'rubbish' trucks). The missing plane MH17 too will draw most to that conclusion.  We can only hope that another MH plane or similar, is not attacked.

Who exactly is Blair's boss? Who actually pays him for being a 'Peace Envoy'?

Actually...our esteemed Middle East Peace Envoy had a wonderful time last week. While the Israelis and Palestinians are killing each other, he was holding a wonderful 'Strictly Come Dancing' themed birthday party for his wife Cherie's 60th birthday. The party was held at his stately pile in the Home Counties. Most of the Labour great and good were invited, including Ed Miliband and his wife. The party is estimated to have cost around £50.000. Meanwhile...the killing goes on in Gaza.

Yes, astro, and the killing goes on.

I  wonder if you and others googled 'Robin Cook Resignation' ?  If not please do and witness a true ''Statesman''. They are very, very rare nowadays.

His speach says it all IMO.  Note throughout that  wonderful heart felt speech the respect given by all, and the clapping and standing ovation at the end.  And yet we still went to war. I wonder why?  More than 100,000 innocent people killed, 7/7, Lee Riby, the enourmous cost  which will may never end.

And do you know what all I can remember from Mr Tony blair was his words: ''Weapons of mass distruction'' over, and over, and over again, until I was sick of it and him.

Re: my #27.

I wonder as well did YOU see Robin Cooks resignation speech?  If not it's there now and will be for a long time. Google: Robin Cooks resignation speech.  It really is worth the time. It seems nearly all supported him, yet the BIG mistake still went through.

And I still wonder why?  Must be him upstairs thought it wasn't a mistake?  I wonder why about him too?

#28 Yes, astro, better for him and the war mongers.
