Overnight snow lying on top of ice.

Morning Margie, the Sun was shining here an hour ago, no snow but a hard frost. It's thick and was glistening in the sunshine BUT..... that didn't last long. The frost on some cars in direct sunshine started to melt but then... the clouds came, the fog's come down and the cars are frosted over all over again! Just off out.... I may not be long....

The car doors were frozen this morning 😱.

Morning Margie, a lot of the frost has melted here but it looks like it's started freezing again. Visiblity is less than a mile so the fog may be coming back. I'm off out in a few minutes, I won't be out long....... brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

It's just started snowing as hubby got out of the car with the dogs.

It's very heavy now.

Morning Margie, well, you will live in the frozen North! Sun's shining here and it's melting the frost but when the Sun moves round, it's re-freezing! No sign of any dogs on that field, where are they?

The dogs were probably still in the house apart from our two.😁
They would have been at the far side of the field, you can't see them from the car park when they're over there.

Sun is shining but still a lot of ice and snow lying.

Morning Margie, no Sun here, it's all overcast but the frost's melting away so the temperature must have lifted a bit. Roofs, cars and fields are clear of frost, it's just lying in the coldest places.

Morning Margie, there's been a hard frost and a shower of sleet overnight but it's all melting away now. There's a strong wind blowing and it looks like rain clouds heading this way.

Good morning Margie, I'm just back in from a walk round, the temperature's risen, relatively warm now. Rain's stopped here, everywhere's wet and damp though.

Good Morning Margie, yes, pretty mild, the Sun was shining when I went out but looking at those dark Grey clouds and the full arch rainbow out West, I think there may be some rain soon.
