Yes Yvonne.

She came in sying 'Oh Im here there and evrywhere. T offic are just putting more and more on me. I dont knowhow they expect me to be here and there at the same time'.

Some of the office workers sould try to do the job themselves.

They epect the carer to be at one job and another job 10miles away at the same time.

a lot of the carers here are leaving, too much work, not enough time and they are expected to work almost 24hrs a day, they just can't keep up with the work.  They are all saying the job is NOT what they signed up for and certainly not how it was described to them at interview.  There are also a lot of problems with being asked to work extra shifts, use of their own cars/expenses etc.

Same with hte Home helps/Carers here Tim

If they use their own Cars they get 27p a mile, Government employees get a minimum of 69p

I know Yvonne. Its disgusting how the bosses just pile the work on them.

Some of the carers work long hours but the office staff close at 5pm.

Ive got to know some of the tactics the bosses use to get the carers to do extra and some fall for it.

its the same all over with all the cut backs  the carers do there best   to do there job  lots are leaving  and then its the patient and there family who suffer  and the carers themselves because they don't get the support from there bosses  and have more work  to do ......:-(
