feeling much better thanks Margs, went to hospital on Thursday, had cast removed, stiches out and new cast, a much lighter synthetic one put one.  Ankle and foot are all colours of the rainbow, especially where the ligaments were torn, and it's still severely swollen, but they're looking to take cast off altoghether in four weeks time.  Then they will decide whether to take out the pins then or as the consultant said, leave them in till they crack 😮 then what happens I don't know.

The wound where they put the pins in has healed beautifully, and to think they'll need to cut again to get them out 😮

Went for a walk into town with him yesterday, only a short trip as it's his first really since it happened.  Went to his works, boss was really nice and has promised when he goes back as he still wont be able to walk properly that he'll give him a chair from the office with wheels on so he can skoot about :^O

Called at a couple more shops then home, but by that time he was exhausted and the crutches had given him blisters on his hands 😞

Remembered last time that we used small sections of insulation foam piping that goes round water pipes to cushion the handles, need to look for some 🙂
