TBF, Murray didn't come close to the standard required. Far too many balls into the net, and he seemed tired and defeated even in the first set. He had a good draw through, no top players in his way, and it is the beginning of the yr, so stamina shouldn't be a problem.
I do think his angry attitude works against him. By the 3rd game, the commentators were apologizing to viewers about his language. 😐 There's a difference between using aggression to pump yourself up at low points and being constantly angry, as he is.
Mind you, Djokovic played well, no doubt about it. Very few errors, apart from the odd long ball, which you are bound to get when they are going for the lines all the time. A worthy winner, IMV. 🙂

I agree with what you say, Caution...the only thing I would add is at least at several points yesterday in the final, Andy actually smiled a couple of times! :^O
Djokovic was really good and I wonder, even if Andy had been playing at his top level, whether he would have beaten him. It seems though that, at the moment, Andy cannot play at his best in a Grand Slam final.:-)
