mist lifted slightly. When I first woke up, I could not see the edge of the bedroom balcony, so it has improved. 

I remember mornings like this, waiting for the bus to get to school. It used to just drive on by. By the time I recognised the number as being the bus I needed, I would be too late to stick my hand out. So I would take the day off.

a sad time. A former RTer off snipers is very ill in hospital. They were going to turn off the machines last night but she has rallied a little. Whatever happens now, there is not much time left for her. Thinking of her and her family. It's been a long battle.
