Yes. But a pity they don't stop their beheadings too - already around 150 or more this year, I think.

That depends on what you call a crime that warrants a death penalty. Apostasy? Witchraft? Blasphemy? Homosexuality?

You forgot the main one thieving..

Not a supporter of the death penalty for any crime but we don't like it when outsiders try to impose their values on our way of life - what we often forget is that it is a two way street.

There are others I didn't mention. I only mentioned some that wouldn't even warrant a prison sentence in many countries. Stealing would.
Anyway, that aside, yes I do think it's good that Saudi says it wants to do something to combat terrorism. A start might be to stop wealthy individuals funding Daesh. Still I am a bit cynical given the Saudi hatred of Shia muslims.
Religion and it's factions - does my head in.

Fair point. I'm just expressing my personal opinion. I won't be writing to the Saudi Royal Family about it!

The cynics amongst us would assume this is little more than a PR stunt due to the bad press Muslims (in general) are getting. A move to distance themselves as it were and you can't really blame them. However, just like our wonderous Tory overlords I doubt very much will be done to tackle the problem(s) at source.
