Can someone advise how to upload a photo
When I initially tried there was an icon in the menu at the top of the text box for "insert photos". Clicked on this and there was a browse button at the bottom of the text box. When I did all this it simply tells me I don't hve permission to do that.
Logged out and back in again and now the "insert photos" icon has disappeared altogether
Confusingly yours. Thanks

Dear aaand2136-voqfz8yx
Petal and I save (upload) our pics to photobucket (it's free) and then download them through another process (Real time html) which we'll explain when you've cracked photobucket.
It's the only way I know how to do it !!

Thank you very much for your reply.
I use to have a Photobucket account, but that was years ago. Seems a heck of a palaver to go through to post the odd picture.
Although on my latest login (just now), the insert/edit image icon at the top of the text box and the browse button at the bottom have now re-appearred.

5 mins later and that icon and browse button have gone again!!!!

You're right, it does seem like a palaver, but, after you've done it loads of times it becomes easy, after all is there any other way?
If there is I'd like to know about it too !!
If you wish to learn the process another poster (BUNNY) on here is better at showing screen shots for the process. I've found she can be a bit difficult but with a little insincere flattery she becomes a pussycat.

With a name like Bunny, she can be as difficult as she likes

If you look back at Bunnys postings you can see a certain aggression at the back of the postings, especially the one where shes ripping the head off a cute puppy.
I dont fink you know whats coming your way.

Hi aaand2136-voqfz8yx. if you are using IE as your browser try using Firefox or Chrome. I just tried IE and the insert image is very intermittent.
I hardly use Photobucket for uploaded pics, I do it straight from my PC.

Hi Bunny
I use Firefox as my browser, but even whilst posting this reply there was no icon to post a picture or browse button allowing a PC upload.
On the plus side I can insert an emoticon and even underline or
strike-through. I can type in different texts, different sizes and even different colours, but pictures are beyond me.
For this post there was a Rich Text tab and a Preview one. With the videos uploading thread I also had an HTML tab and it was that tab that allowed me to post a video, it wasn't possible in Rich Text - so maybe that is the key. I'll keep trying.
Cheers aand2 ...... perhaps I should also change the username generated for me
