I know! I am put off by the price fixing scandal for kindle books,(not that I bough any yet, sofar all my books are free from the Guttenberg project.)
but unfortunately they often have the lowest prices. And also very handy for pressies for Germany - go on the German site - pay inland postage...
Son was thinking of getting a kindle, but then he decided he likes the look of hardback books on his bookcase 😄
I'd never replace real books, for e-books. But in some situations it's very handy, specially when you need several books available, without having to carry them. You can also load pdf documents onto it, (which I haven't tried yet.) Make notes, also, there's a Dictionary attached.
Easy to read in bright sunlight. You can enlarge the font considerably...a practical addition to a real library.
